Role Overview:
As a Federal Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help federal agencies make informed decisions. This part-time position offers the flexibility to balance professional growth with personal commitments while contributing to high-impact projects.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management: Gather and clean large datasets from various federal sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within government data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create comprehensive reports, charts, and interactive dashboards (using tools like Tableau or PowerBI) to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Compliance Support: Ensure all data handling and analysis activities adhere to federal regulations, security protocols, and privacy laws.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and optimize reporting strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal or government contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik) is highly preferred.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (e.g., Secret or Top Secret) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
