Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret complex federal datasets to support decision-making processes.
- Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with policy analysts and federal clients to translate data into actionable insights.
- Maintain strict data governance standards and ensure compliance with federal security protocols (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA).
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in historical and real-time data.
- Create detailed reports and documentation to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Assist in the management of data pipelines and database queries using SQL and Python.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or government contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases; experience with Python or R is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Understanding of federal data regulations, security requirements, and compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data simply.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting while meeting tight deadlines.
