Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal agency networks and hardware systems.
- Analyze system requirements and implement software solutions in compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST).
- Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to ensure data protection standards are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline IT workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and incident logs for federal stakeholders.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential vulnerabilities or outages.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all government security protocols.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a federal security clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Python, or Java; experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance (where applicable).
