Responsibilities
- Perform routine security assessments and vulnerability scans on federal networks.
- Analyze system logs and monitor for suspicious activity to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to implement security best practices.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of IT infrastructure and software.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT support or cybersecurity within a government or contractor environment.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or relevant federal IT certifications.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of NIST frameworks, FISMA, and federal IT regulations.
