Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware and software systems.
- Monitor and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) for optimal performance.
- Install, configure, and upgrade network components to ensure system integrity.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols and IT compliance standards.
- Document system configurations, incidents, and resolutions for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with federal staff to resolve complex IT issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent military experience.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, and Cisco networking protocols.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall management.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and reside within the New York metropolitan area.
