Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for federal employees.
- Assist in the configuration and deployment of workstations and peripherals in accordance with federal security protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for IT assets and ensure compliance with government disposal policies.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify vulnerabilities and implement security patches.
- Conduct training sessions for staff regarding new software applications and best practices for data protection.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely manner to minimize operational downtime.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this federal position.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends, to meet federal mission requirements.
