Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to federal agency personnel via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware, peripherals, and network connectivity.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations and software applications.
- Monitor system performance and respond to security alerts in adherence to federal compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
- Collaborate with the broader IT team to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen to meet federal employment requirements.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance or equivalent background check.
- Availability: Must be available for a flexible part-time schedule (typically 20-25 hours per week).
