Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for federal staff.
- Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of federal information systems and peripherals.
- Document technical incidents, resolutions, and system changes in compliance with federal compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to implement and monitor security protocols and patches.
- Conduct routine system audits and inventory checks to ensure accuracy and security.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workstation environment following federal guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with non-technical staff to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and common office software.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain necessary security clearance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available to work a part-time schedule (typically 20-30 hours per week).
