Responsibilities
- Maintain and digitize veteran medical records with 99.9% accuracy
- Process Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests within compliance deadlines
- Coordinate with VA medical centers across Kansas region
- Implement secure document retention protocols per federal regulations
- Train on VA's electronic health record systems
- Support audit preparation for federal compliance reviews
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years records management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain NACI background clearance
- Familiarity with HIPAA and federal privacy laws
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
