Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate federal records, ensuring proper filing and digitization of sensitive documents.
- Assist in the preparation of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and responses.
- Conduct regular audits of physical and digital archives to ensure compliance with agency standards.
- Communicate effectively with federal agency personnel and internal stakeholders regarding document status.
- Operate standard office equipment, including multi-line phones, scanners, and filing systems.
- Update and maintain databases with the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for federal positions).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in records management, administrative support, or a related field.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry software.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued background check or public trust clearance.
