Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of public sector data and statistics.
- Maintain accurate and confidential digital and physical records for city departments.
- Conduct research on local ordinances and government regulations to support policy initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to senior analysts and department heads during peak operational hours.
- Coordinate with community stakeholders to gather feedback and disseminate important government information.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, data entry, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with database management software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public and colleagues.
- Must be available to work a set schedule of 15-25 hours per week, including some weekends or evenings as needed.
