Responsibilities
- Case Management Assistance: Provide administrative support to social workers by organizing client files, tracking progress, and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments with clients and external agencies.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records in our secure databases and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management review.
- Community Outreach: Assist in organizing community events, distributing informational materials, and connecting eligible residents with available resources.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all activities and documentation adhere to state and federal regulations and agency policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role within a government or non-profit setting is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 15-25 hours per week, including some evenings or weekends as required.
