Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, businesses, and visitors by answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Assist with the preparation, organization, and maintenance of confidential departmental records, reports, and filing systems.
- Perform accurate data entry and word processing tasks to support administrative operations.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate events, meetings, and community outreach initiatives.
- Monitor and update internal databases to ensure information is current and accessible.
- Respond to phone calls and emails in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the department's mission.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or government setting is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid Oklahoma driverβs license and a clean driving record may be required depending on the specific department.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
