Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule community outreach events and stakeholder meetings within the Tarrant County region.
- Assist in the preparation and editing of reports, memos, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
- Maintain and update program databases and records, ensuring all data is confidential and organized.
- Respond to inquiries from the public and internal departments via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the supervision of volunteers and interns assigned to the program.
- Conduct research to identify resources and best practices for program improvement.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support, public service, or program coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and database management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends.
