Responsibilities
- Process and review pension benefit applications and eligibility requests with high accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service to retirees and applicants via phone, email, and in-person inquiries regarding pension plans.
- Verify and maintain confidential records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the reconciliation of payroll data and pension calculations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex pension discrepancies.
- Prepare and organize documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in government administration, customer service, or pension processing is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
