Responsibilities
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to state employees.
- Manage and maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of workstations and peripherals.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the IT Service Management system.
- Conduct regular system checks and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure high availability of critical systems.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and remotely as required.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
