Responsibilities
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop environments and peripherals.
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve user inquiries with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data security and compliance with state regulations.
- Conduct system audits and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure system integrity.
- Document technical procedures and update the knowledge base for future reference.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a professional customer service orientation.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening (Mandatory for state employment).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
