Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist staff with computer setup, software installation, and peripheral configuration.
- Maintain accurate records of IT incidents and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
- Conduct routine system checks and perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain security protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high user satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree in Information Technology preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of computer hardware components.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening as required by state policy.
