Responsibilities
- Administer pension plan enrollment, disbursements, and record maintenance
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and NC state statutes
- Respond to participant inquiries regarding retirement benefits and eligibility
- Analyze financial data for plan solvency reporting and forecasting
- Collaborate with HR departments on employee retirement planning
- Prepare quarterly and annual regulatory filings
- Conduct benefit audits and reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration or retirement planning experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and pension management software
- Deep understanding of 401(k), 457(b), and pension plan structures
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential financial data with discretion
- US citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
