Responsibilities
- Manage and administer federal pension plan benefits including TSP, FERS, and CSRS
- Analyze retirement contribution data and benefit calculations for accuracy
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, OPM regulations, and federal pension laws
- Respond to complex pension inquiries from federal employees and retirees
- Develop reports on pension fund performance and actuarial projections
- Collaborate with HR departments and OPM on retirement policy updates
- Conduct audits of pension records and benefit disbursements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Deep knowledge of federal retirement systems (FERS/CSRS) and TSP
- Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, QKA, or CFA) preferred
- Expertise in ERISA compliance and pension accounting standards
- Advanced proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Benefitfocus, PeopleSoft)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
