Responsibilities
- Process and determine eligibility for state assistance programs (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid)
- Conduct client interviews and document case information accurately
- Explain program requirements and benefits to applicants
- Verify applicant documentation and maintain confidential records
- Collaborate with community partners to provide resource referrals
- Utilize state databases for case management and reporting
- Adhere to all state regulations and compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years customer service or administrative experience
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of public assistance programs preferred
