- Process and catalog public records requests according to NYC municipal guidelines
- Maintain digital and physical document archives with precision
- Respond to citizen inquiries via phone, email, and in-person channels
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on sensitive document handling
- Utilize city record management systems (ARMS) for data entry/retrieval
- Support FOIL (Freedom of Information Law) compliance procedures
- Assist with digitization projects for historical preservation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years records management or administrative experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and databases
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of New York State public records law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
