Responsibilities
- Perform groundskeeping and landscaping tasks in parks and public spaces
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, pressure washers) safely
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and street cleaning operations
- Support snow removal and winter weather emergency response
- Collect and dispose of waste/debris from public facilities
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Complete basic equipment inspections and minor repairs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Pittsburgh residency preferred at time of hire
