Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize official case records in digital and physical formats
- Process incoming documents with strict confidentiality protocols Respond to public records requests within statutory timelines
- Coordinate document retrieval for legal proceedings and internal audits
- Update databases ensuring accuracy and compliance with retention policies
- Assist with departmental clerical tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 1 year records management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Strong attention to detail with data entry accuracy
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of FOIA protocols
- Valid Illinois driver's license (if driving required)
