Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize confidential client records with 100% accuracy
- Process and digitize documents using state-of-the-art archival systems
- Respond to public records requests within statutory timeframes
- Coordinate with department staff for record retrieval and updates
- Ensure compliance with Tennessee Public Records Act guidelines
- Assist with data entry and verification in department databases
- Support special projects as assigned by Records Management Supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- 1+ years experience in records management or administrative support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail with error-free documentation skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Valid Tennessee driver's license (if travel between sites required)
- Pass background check and fingerprinting per state policy
- Experience with document imaging systems a plus
