Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential public health records in compliance with state regulations
- Process immunization and vital records requests with precision and timeliness
- Utilize state databases for data entry and record retrieval
- Assist with document scanning, filing, and archiving systems
- Provide courteous support to walk-in clients and phone inquiries
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community partners
- Adhere to HIPAA and Texas Health and Safety Code protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year records management or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic knowledge of Texas public records laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English/Spanish
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
