Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on current government policies affecting the welfare sector.
- Prepare high-level briefing notes, policy papers, and memorandums for Ministers and senior officials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement digital solutions and improve service efficiency.
- Monitor legislative changes and international trends to ensure our strategies remain competitive and compliant.
- Present complex data findings to non-technical audiences in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Contribute to the development of KPIs and performance metrics for departmental projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in policy analysis, public administration, or a relevant social science field.
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of the UK government structure and civil service values.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft formal documents.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
