Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on current state legislation, regulatory changes, and policy trends.
- Prepare comprehensive briefings, memorandums, and reports for senior leadership and the Governor's Office.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and provide actionable insights for decision-makers.
- Assist in the coordination of inter-agency projects and task forces.
- Attend committee meetings, public hearings, and stakeholder forums to gather information and report findings.
- Maintain accurate records of policy research and project milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in government, public policy, or a related analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information clearly.
- Proven analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
