Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections as required
- Monitor security checkpoints and identify suspicious items/behaviors
- Operate advanced imaging technology and security equipment
- Enforce TSA security regulations with professionalism and tact
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel
- Provide excellent customer service during security screening
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn technical systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Pass TSA Pre-Check assessment
