Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage to detect prohibited items and ensure compliance with security regulations
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security screening equipment effectively
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections as necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism
- Document security incidents and submit detailed reports for further review
- Collaborate with other security team members and law enforcement agencies to maintain a secure environment
- Adhere to all TSA policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
