Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and their carry-on baggage using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Identify and report suspicious items and potential security threats
- Ensure all passengers and their belongings comply with TSA security regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to travelers
- Operate and maintain screening equipment
- Work in a team environment to maintain a secure and efficient screening process
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Basic computer skills
