Responsibilities
- Operate advanced X-ray, CT, and metal detection systems to screen passengers and carry-on baggage for prohibited items
- Perform thorough physical pat-down searches and baggage inspections following TSA protocols
- Monitor security checkpoints and identify suspicious behavior or anomalies
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing security regulations with professionalism
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security alerts

Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn security software systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clear communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
