Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail along assigned routes using provided postal vehicles or foot delivery
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to postal regulations
- Operate delivery scanners and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide courteous customer service at mailboxes and collection boxes
- Report mail irregularities and suspicious activities promptly
- Maintain clean and safe vehicle operation (if applicable)
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift mail trays weighing up to 70 pounds
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
