Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for daily delivery routes
- Operate delivery vehicles and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the USPS brand
- Maintain route efficiency and adhere to delivery schedules
- Report mail irregularities and address discrepancies
- Operate postal equipment including scanners and sorting machinery
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
