Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to USPS regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Interact professionally with customers while providing excellent service
- Manage daily mail volume and adhere to strict delivery timeframes
- Report mail irregularities and maintain route security protocols
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and report operational issues
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen (or permanent resident)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems and reporting
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions independently
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned facility
