What You Will Do:
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members regarding their pension inquiries. You will assist in processing documentation, updating digital records, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. We value accuracy, integrity, and a customer-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the intake and processing of pension applications and benefit requests.
- Update and maintain accurate member records in the state pension database.
- Perform high-volume data entry with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
- Respond to member inquiries via phone and email regarding pension eligibility and status.
- Prepare and organize correspondence and reports for the pension board.
- Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile monthly contributions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
- No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and a standard drug screen.
