Responsibilities
- Administer and manage federal pension plans including Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) and Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS)
- Review and process retirement claims with 99.7% accuracy
- Advise federal employees on retirement planning strategies and benefits optimization
- Ensure strict compliance with OPM regulations and ERISA guidelines
- Develop educational materials for pre-retirement seminars and workshops
- Collaborate with HR departments across federal agencies
- Analyze pension data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Federal benefits certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CBP) preferred
- Proficiency in federal retirement systems (e.g., HRIS, eOPF)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
