Responsibilities
- Administer defined benefit pension plans ensuring compliance with ERISA and Nevada state regulations
- Conduct financial modeling and actuarial valuations for long-term plan sustainability
- Manage participant enrollment, distributions, and retirement counseling services
- Collaborate with auditors and legal counsel for regulatory compliance reporting
- Develop educational materials and workshops for plan participants
- Analyze investment performance and recommend portfolio adjustments
- Implement strategic plan improvements to enhance participant benefits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of pension plan administration or benefits management experience
- SPBC or QPA certification strongly preferred
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium, Benefitfocus)
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS 415 limits, and Nevada Revised Statutes 286
- Exceptional analytical skills with financial modeling experience
- Strong communication skills for complex benefit explanations
- Government/public sector experience highly valued
