Responsibilities
- Administer complex federal pension plans (FERS/CSRS) with 100% regulatory compliance
- Analyze retirement eligibility and calculate benefits for 5,000+ federal employees annually
- Lead cross-functional audits to ensure ERISA and OPM standards are met
- Develop policy recommendations for pension plan optimization
- Train federal employees on retirement planning and benefit options
- Manage pension fund investments within federal fiduciary guidelines
- Prepare quarterly reports for congressional oversight committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Federal retirement system certification (FERS/CSRS)
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, OPM regulations, and TSP guidelines
- Advanced proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Oracle HCM)
- Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses
- Top Secret security clearance
