Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including FERS and CSRS systems with precision
- Process retirement applications, benefit calculations, and survivor claims
- Conduct compliance audits and ensure adherence to federal pension regulations
- Respond to complex pension inquiries from federal employees and retirees
- Prepare detailed reports on pension fund status and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with legal and financial teams on pension policy updates
- Train federal agencies on pension administration procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of pension administration or federal benefits experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, FERS, CSRS, and TSP regulations
- Proficiency in federal HR systems and pension software (e.g., NSPS)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex calculations
- Ability to work weekends with flexible schedule availability
- US citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
