Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans in strict accordance with ERISA and OPM regulations
- Process daily payroll transactions for retirement accounts with 100% accuracy
- Conduct compliance audits and benefit eligibility reviews
- Provide expert guidance to federal employees on retirement planning options
- Develop and implement pension plan optimization strategies
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on cross-functional initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports for federal oversight agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of pension plan administration experience
- Deep knowledge of federal retirement systems (TSP, FERS, CSRS)
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation preferred
