Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits and investigations of multi-employer and single-employer pension plans for ERISA compliance
- Analyze complex financial data and actuarial reports to assess plan solvency and funding adequacy
- Provide technical guidance to plan sponsors, trustees, and participants on fiduciary responsibilities
- Develop enforcement recommendations for violations of pension regulations
- Collaborate with legal teams on litigation support for civil penalty assessments
- Conduct outreach and training sessions for pension industry stakeholders
- Monitor emerging pension industry trends and regulatory developments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pension plan administration, employee benefits, or regulatory compliance
- Professional certification (e.g., ASPPA, ERISA Fiduciary Advisor) preferred
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, PBGC, and IRS pension regulations
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis software and data visualization tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
