Responsibilities
- Administer and enforce pension plan compliance with ERISA and federal regulations
- Conduct audits and investigations of multi-employer pension plans
- Provide technical guidance to employers, unions, and plan participants
- Review and analyze plan documents for fiduciary responsibility adherence
- Develop corrective action plans for non-compliant plans
- Collaborate with state agencies and labor organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations for policy improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field
- 5+ years of pension plan administration or benefits experience
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, IRS Section 412, and PBGC regulations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience conducting pension plan audits or investigations
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
