Responsibilities
- Assist in daily pension fund operations including contributions, disbursements, and record maintenance
- Support compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and Oklahoma state pension laws
- Process retirement applications and member benefit calculations with precision
- Contribute to annual actuarial valuations and financial reporting initiatives
- Collaborate with HR departments to resolve member inquiries and benefit discrepancies
- Participate in system testing for pension administration software upgrades
- Maintain accurate member records in pension databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in financial services or public sector (internships acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail with data accuracy skills
- Ability to interpret complex pension regulations and legal documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
