Responsibilities
- Administer and interpret federal pension regulations (ERISA, TPAF) to ensure compliance for federal agencies
- Conduct complex benefit calculations and retirement counseling for federal employees
- Develop policy recommendations for improving federal retirement plan sustainability
- Collaborate with OPM and Treasury on multi-agency pension initiatives
- Analyze pension fund performance and risk mitigation strategies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for congressional oversight and agency leadership
- Lead cross-functional training on pension plan administration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in pension plan administration or federal benefits
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, TPAF, and federal retirement regulations
- Advanced proficiency in pension calculation software and Excel modeling
- Strong analytical skills with experience in large-scale data analysis
- Active federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
