Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans ensuring ERISA and IRS compliance
- Conduct complex benefit calculations for retirement-eligible employees

- Prepare comprehensive reports for OMB and congressional oversight
- Train agency staff on pension administration procedures
- Manage pension system data integrity and cybersecurity protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 5+ years pension administration experience with federal programs
- Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, QKA, or ASPPA)
- Advanced knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k) regulations, and TSP rules
- Proficiency in pension software (e.g., Empower, Fidelity Workstation)
- Ability to work night shift independently with minimal supervision
- Top Secret security clearance eligibility
- Experience with federal employee benefits systems (e.g., BENEFITS)
