Responsibilities
- Analyze pension plan documents for ERISA and IRS compliance
- Conduct audits of multi-employer pension plans
- Investigate potential fiduciary breaches and reporting violations
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for Congressional oversight
- Coordinate with federal agencies on pension fund stability initiatives
- Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding pension regulations
- Maintain confidential participant records per federal standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 5+ years pension plan administration experience
- Current federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in ERISA, PBGC, and IRS pension regulations
- Advanced Excel and database management skills
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Professional certification (ASP, QKA, or CEBS) preferred
