Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans ensuring strict ERISA and IRS compliance
- Process retirement claims, distributions, and beneficiary updates with 99% accuracy
- Conduct pension audits and financial modeling for multi-million dollar portfolios
- Develop retirement education workshops for federal employees across agencies
- Collaborate with OPM and Treasury on policy implementation
- Manage vendor relationships for pension administration services
- Prepare quarterly compliance reports for regulatory oversight
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field required
- 3+ years pension administration or federal retirement experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or CEBS designation preferred
- Proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Albridge, Ascensus)
- Expert knowledge of federal retirement systems (FERS, CSRS)
