- Conduct regular audits of pension records and financial statements
- Advise employees on retirement planning options and benefit calculations
- Collaborate with finance departments on funding strategies and actuarial reviews
- Prepare quarterly reports for city council and regulatory bodies
- Manage pension plan investments and vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or Public Administration
- Minimum 5 years pension administration experience
- Government/sector-specific pension certification (e.g., CPM, QKA)
- Expert knowledge of OPM and Ohio Retirement Systems regulations
- Advanced proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium, Benefitfocus)
