Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans for 200,000+ public sector members using specialized software
- Process retirement applications, benefit calculations, and distribution requests
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and Missouri state statutes
- Conduct member consultations via phone/video during weekend shifts
- Generate benefit statements and annual reports with precise financial data
- Collaborate with auditors and legal teams for compliance reviews
- Maintain accurate records in government-mandated tracking systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Proficiency with retirement systems (e.g., Millennium, Empower)
- Knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k) regulations, and MO state statutes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Weekend shift availability (Sat/Sun 8am-4pm)
- Excellent remote communication and problem-solving abilities
